2015 F-150 2.7 EcoBoost Engine Guide
A twin-turbo V6 introduced with this generation.

Review oil service records, check for coolant or oil loss and note rough running, unusual noises or loss of boost.
What to know
An underboost fault such as P0299 is a diagnostic clue, not automatic evidence that a turbocharger must be replaced. Intake plumbing, control and sensor checks may be relevant.
What I'd check next
Use the correct 2015 Ford manual for viscosity, capacity and maintenance instructions.

These are published Ford figures for this engine, not a universal service fill chart. Check the owner's manual, VIN-specific fitment and current Ford-approved parts before working on the truck.

Capacities above are published specifications. Actual refill amounts can vary; never add the entire coolant-system capacity during a simple top-up. Parts may have superseded numbers.

Official information
Start with the Ford owner manual and Ford's 2015 technical specifications. For recall-related questions, use Ford's VIN recall checker. Published specifications may differ by configuration, market and equipment.
I own a Blue Flame Metallic 2015 Ford F-150 XLT and plan to add firsthand observations, photos and maintenance notes to these guides. I won't present an untested repair as something I've personally done.
